weightlifting: enhancing athletic performance
applying force across athletic populations
Arc's EAP course is designed to equip sport coaches, strength and conditioning coaches, trainers, and athletes with the skills to conduct, identify, and apply corrective strategies through observing movement, understanding force application, and developing sound programming through the lens of weightlifting movements. Over a one-day academic course, participants will develop confidence to safely progress athletes and prepare them for load and intensity.
What You'll Gain:
-Identify key limitations that impact technique, strength development, and performance potential.
-Diagnosing common technical faults and implementing appropriate progressions.
-Understand how to progressively develop max strength, dynamic strength, and power across training ages.
-Construct training cycles-from microcycle to mesocycle-with appropriate load, volume, and recovery.
-Build sound programming strategies for athletes and general populations.
To earn certification, participants must attend the full course day and successfully complete the programming practical. The course runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a scheduled lunch break; exact timing may vary.
